Latest development
Synthetic filter media for HEPA applications
In 2020 the R&D team at IREMA opened a new chapter for the company with the development of a highly advanced synthetic media with particle efficiencies up to
99,99%. With a low pressure drop it has enabled our customers to enhance their own product lines of respirator facemasks and HEPA filters.
We have all relevant and important steps for manufacturing high quality products in-house. Thus we can flexibly and quickly react to the increasing market
and customer demands:
Machines are planned in-house using CAD programs. Together with an experienced team of mechanical engineers
we are able to design, assemble and maintain our machines ourselves. For this we use our own CNC and workshop
area.
Whether for the development of new filter media or the optimization of existing filtration products, we have a team of
committed employees and the appropriate equipment available. This enables us to work on customized products and
continously adapt our standard products to the increasing demands of the market.
From production of filter media to the manufacture of finished filters, we have all production steps in-house. Thus we
can keep an eye on the quality of the whole product portfolio and can react promptly.
In addition to our laboratory, which monitors our high quality standard during production, a new filter test laboratory
was set up in 2017. In cooperation with an independent test laboratory, a test rig was designed allowing us to also test
filters according to ISO 16890, EN 779 and Ashrae 52.2.
